Yes, Gemsparx can ship orders outside the United States as well. However, this shipping charge has to be paid by the customer. Gemsparx does not offer complimentary shipping for any order that needs international shipping. This shipping charge can vary from the destination it is being shipped to and the value of the shipment for insurance coverage. Further, any import duty that may be applicable based on the country to which the ordered item is being shipped, shall be borne and paid for by the customer as well including and handling charges that may be relevant. Gemsparx is not liable for any cost of shipping and handling related to all international shipments.

Yes, Gemsparx offers a state of the art 3D CAD design service at a very nominal charge to its customers (most of which is waived off upon the customer’s confirmed order) who may wish to create a unique jewelry piece. Once the designed CAD image or video with specifications is approved by the customer, we commence producing the wax mold using a 3D Printer for precision work. The final jewelry piece is then casted in Gold or Platinum as per the order placed.

Gemsparx buys all its diamonds from the reputable diamond cutting factories worldwide that cut rough diamonds into polished ones. These factories operate in the open market economies of democratic countries like India, Belgium, Israel, etc who follow strict labor laws and are not tainted by any forced labor or unethical practices such as child labor, funding any criminal activities such as drugs, prostitution, militia, violence against any specific groups, ethnic backgrounds or just governments. All diamonds (usually of sizes 0.15 cts or bigger) are then certified by reputed laboratories such as GIA, IGI, and others.

The Kimberley Process certification scheme was created in 2003 to break the link between diamonds and bloodshed. Unfortunately, the Kimberley Process monitors only conflict diamonds – that is, rough diamonds used to finance wars against governments. It fails to address much of the violence and human rights abuses facing diamond mining today, such as torture, rape, extrajudicial killings, corruption, child labor, and forced labor. The Kimberley Process suggests that “conflict free” diamonds are ethically sourced. In fact, diamonds receiving “conflict free” certification from the Kimberley Process may have tragic histories.

Conflict diamonds, according to the most common definition, are rough diamonds used to finance militia wars or other acts of violence against governments from its sale proceeds. However, besides civil wars, diamond mining today is plagued by a range of shocking ethical abuses. These include violence by governments, child labor, extreme poverty, and environmental devastation to name a few.

Ideally, we recommend all jewelry ornaments to be inspected every six months. It is always better to get all jewelry inspected by a jeweler for any wear and tear, particularly on the prongs that are holding the jewels to make sure if they are still in perfect condition and strong enough to securely hold the diamonds or any other valuable jewels. We at Gemsparx.com are more than happy to inspect and professionally steam clean your artisan jewelry pieces free of charge that you happen to have purchased from us in the past and make sure they are in good sturdy condition. Please feel free to ship us your treasured jewelry pieces for inspection and cleaning.

If there happens to be any significant repair that may be required, we will notify you of its condition and any charges it may need. Any minor repairs and polishing, we will do free of charge for all our customers for the pieces purchased from us.

In case of any return, the customer is required to call the Toll Free number of the Company (Gemsparx, Inc) given on the website and explain the reason for returning the purchased item. We would like to know this in order to improve our customer service. After understanding over the phone, we shall pre-authorize your item to be returned back to our office WITHIN 10 DAYS FROM the Date the Item was delivered to you.

The customer is responsible to ship the purchased item back to us duly insured at his own expense when returning any merchandise. Once the item is received back with us within 10 days from delivery date, the item is thoroughly inspected and verified to be the same as shipped by us and in perfect order with no damage or tampering. Once the item is determined to be the same and found to be in perfect condition as shipped by us, the refund voucher is prepared and processed within 72 hours and your refund is made in full after deducting the Shipping and Insurance charge that Gemsparx, Inc incurred while shipping the item to you. No refunds will be made if the item purchased is not received back to our office within 10 days from the date it was delivered to the customer or determined to be not the same item that was shipped by us. No exceptions made.

Please make a note of it. If the item is determined to be damaged or tampered with, full refund will not be made. The customer will be notified in case of the damage and / or tampering and the %age fee charged for accepting the return in the given condition, which may vary from item to item based on its condition. All special order returns will be charged a restocking fee of a minimum of 15 %.
